Get yourself a good grammar book which will introduce you to thousands of words, give you examples and exercises and provide you with explanations and answers to your questions.

Dictionary

Get a good dictionary either online or in print. A traditional bilingual dictionary, a monolingual dictionary, a frequency dictionary or a thematic vocabulary book will become your best friends.

 

 

Internet

Take advantage of the Internet. It is full of grammar guides, exercises, frequency lists, dictionaries, and videos. And most of the time these resources will cost nothing.
